Children welcome! The HanseKulturFestival offers a colourful programme for the young Hanseatics, which is far more than only candyfloss and merry-go-rounds. At the HanseKulturFestival you have your very own playground. In different workshops you can manufacture your own Hanseatic souvenirs. Enjoy various exciting activities on the playgrounds and look forward to one or another surprise. Have fun!

History Adventure Area
FR until SU, 11 a.m. - 6.00 p.m. ● Green space between Johanneum and Kanalstraße
Don't miss the History Adventure Area "Bauspielplatz Roter Hahn". The craftsmen already brought their medieval tent to the Hansa Day and also this year they are going to entertain you with their historic costumes and workshops. Learn different trades from medieval times under experienced supervision and in historic scenery and create different workpieces that you can take home with you.

On the Wall and on the Watch

The pirates are coming! Do you want to discover the neighbourhood as a little pirate? Come and join the pirate rally An der Mauer! You can do gold-washing and search for jewellery there. The residents make home baked cakes, beverages are also waiting for you. Meanwhile, your parents can have a cup of coffee. The charge for the rally will be € 2.00, including a pirate bandanna, a washable tattoo and of course a small treasure.

Kibbel Kabbel - how things used to be
SA, 12 a.m. - 5 p.m. • Düvekenstraße 6
Kibbel Kabbel is organised by the association for the support of the cognitive and learning ability of children e.V, which is located in a wonderfully hidden house at Düvekenstraße. They will offer a circuit card event, where the children will get different tasks like weighing, converting currencies, deciphering old scripts or felting. We wish a lot of fun and success!

Lüttbecker Kids Party 
SA and SU, 11 a.m. - 17 p.m. ● Spielplatz Kanalstraße und untere Dr.-Julius-Leber-Straße
After the big success of the first HanseKulturFestival young kids up to the age of 10 will have a colourful playground with many games and fun again this time. A nostalgic magic theatre, a soap bubbles bicycle and more actions of the club Spielmobil, a bouncy castle, games, a tinker table and of course make-up for children, this time with a "glitterbar", will await you. In the Mini Dungeon you can solve adventurous riddles. Special highlight is a hobbyhorse-race, so bring your horses and take a ride.

Dragon on the loose!
SU, 12 p.m. • Museumsquartier St. Annen
Follow our dragon on the secret paths through St. Anne's Museum during the guided family tours and discover plenty of exciting things - dragon-like beings, devils and angels, knights and princesses.

Dussel and Schussel
SA and SU, 3 p.m. • Brömsen-Palais, Schildstraße 12
Dussel and Schussel are on the run, but also in search of a mysterious place. Here they suspect the fabled island in the air, which is to reveal a great treasure to them. The two have to pass many dangerous fights and their friendship is put to the test until they can finally find the greatest of all secrets. The "fund: us" stages a clownish acting trip for people from the age of 6 years.

Treasure hunt
FR to SU, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. • Rubin Juwelier der Natur, Fleischhauerstraße 12
The treasure hunt is about straining precious stones out of sand. Every full hour they do vivid short presentations about meteorites and shark teeth. Adults can sign up for aura visualisation.
