Cabaret "Johannes and Julius"

This year's HanseKulturFestival is the perfect place for all those who are looking for breath taking beauty, spectacular stunts, unexpected show events and enchanting tricks. In the midst of the Old Town crossing we are pitching our magic tent. Look forward to balancing acts, acrobatics, magic and fire shows.

Theatre Liebreiz & Friends
FRI, 5 - 10 p.m. • SAT, 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. • SUN, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. • Aegidien quarter Street circus, juggling, walking acts - an intoxication of movement and colourful highlights awaits you in nearly every corner during the festival weekend. Some acts can be found in hidden places, others in a street corner. The spectacular shows will take you on an imaginative journey.

Come in and experience an exceptional view of our city! After the great success of the town production "Bilderfluss" theatre Combinale presents a new project: Artists from different fields as Cirque nouveau, dance, theatre, music, text and installation will perform in the interior and exterior rooms of St. Anne's Museum Quarter. There are further performances on June 15th, 16th, 22th and 23rd. From August 15th to 18th you can experience Circles II at Kulturwerft Gollan.

Magic Theatre

Magic, comedy and thought-reading in front of your eyes. The magic theatre has its home at Beckergrube and has been surprising their guests with funny intoxicating shows for 5 years. Roland Henning is also an absolute highlight on outdoor stages and promises magic moments that will charm you. New and classic magic tricks will ensure great pleasure and amazed faces.

Their roots lie here but haven't quite arrived here, they live in two worlds and often in between. Their lives are a constant "on the run". There are so many roots, sounds and backgrounds - this is the central theme of the stage project, which is a creation by the Theatre of Lübeck and citizens of Lübeck with various national backgrounds under the leadership of Frieda Stahmer.

The Artistocrates
FR to SU, all day • Cabaret Stage "Johannes und Julius" and whole Aegidienviertel
This illustrious Berlin combo impresses with an individual and modern entertaining concept, which moves beyond the traditional cabaret. Characterised by the artistic origins of their founding members, the artistocrats feel obliged to the tradition of the Nouveau Cirque movement. They combine dance and acrobatics and illustrate their play with live music and singing. Their stage is where the audience is.

Gilbert Saltimbanque
FR to SU, whole day • Cabaret Stage "Johannes und Julius" and whole Aegidienviertel
Saltimbanque means as much as "flip over a bank" or juggler. In earlier times, jugglers traveled across the land to emperors, kings, and nobles of the world to entertain and amaze them with their arts. Today they enchant you, the kings and queens of today! Gilbert is at home on the streets of this world and has lived this tradition since he was 13 years old.

Ea Paravicini

The Lübeck tightrope dancer is now part of the inventory of the local cultural scene. Since January 2011 she works as a freelance artist and currently works with her mobile circus theater, rope dance performances and various circus projects. They are regularly seen at various events in Lübeck such as the Duckstein Festival or the Lübeck Theatre Night. Now she makes her debut at the HanseKulturFestival and will enchant her audience.

Ale Risorio

The sometimes slightly eccentric and absurd Spanish clown Ale Risorio travels around the world with his box full of toys and delights his audience. The show consists of many elements such as improvisation, comedy and interaction with the audience. He presents his show in a language that is understood all over the world: the language of smiles.

Christian Brandes
FR, 6.50 p.m. • SA, 6.30 p.m. • Cabaret Stage "Johannes und Julius"
He is tall. He is blonde. He comes from the north. Christian Brandes is a clown in the masquerade of an excellent magician. With his unique blend of magic, comedy and slapstick, he delves into all the legs of conventional entertainment clichés.

tRaum 7/11/26 (premiere)

The ensemble jo.art, which has its seat in the Kulturdornse to Lübeck An der Untertrave, stages a dance-theatrical music theater with texts by Rainer Maria Rilke with Marina Tinz and Stephan Joachim. The music of Rilke's dreambook lyrics combines with the silence of non-contact dance comprehension and the memories found in between. The paintings created during the performance will be auctioned to the visitors of the performances on Sunday afternoon.

Senior Theatre Röstfrei: rehearsel "Ein Flohmarkt"

The insight into a macabre comedy by Rudi Schenk awaits you with this piece. Three girlfriends, who are expecting nothing from life, organise a flea market to sell their belongings. From the proceeds, they want to treat themselves to a last evening with bought lovers.

Theater23: sample "Match me if you can"

Nina Hartmann and Gregor Barcal have staged a crazy and fast-paced confusing comedy full of surprising twists about love in a globalized world in which one no longer "fits together" but makes a "match".

Theater Stiller Wahnsinn Lübeck: sample "Alles Timing"

"Alles Timing" is a collection of six one-acters by David Ives, which among others show how conversations or events can always take different courses, how to communicate perfectly in a fictitious language or how to break an almost everyday situation into its individual parts and turn it into music.

Buddenbrooks: Revolutschoon in Lübeck
SAT, 11 a.m. • Kulturraum, Aegidienstraße 37
The Low German stage presents a scene from the material that makes Lübeck: The Buddenbrooks. In addition to Consul Buddenbrook, Heino Hasloop also embodies the dockworker Corl Smolt and delights in this dual role.
