Are you looking for a great gift? Shop or just browse and be inspired – Lübeck is the perfect place for both.

History and modernity combine in the Hanseatic city to make a special atmosphere: countless little shops display their special wares in the ambience of historic town houses or Mediaeval gems.
A meal at one of Lübeck's history-laden restaurants is the perfect end to a day of shopping, such as the “Schiffergesellschaft” (Seafarer´s Guild) – Germany's oldest inn dating from 1543 – or the “Schabbelhaus” at the heart of the old town.
The museum shops are also worth a visit, because they sell some unique mementos. For details and addresses go to www.die-luebecker-museen.de
