Embedded in the peaceful and classic coastline of Schleswig-Holstein, the A-ROSA Travemünde hotel lies directly on the seashore. The neo-classically furnished 164 rooms and 41 suites of the old spa hotel dating from 1912 convey a feeling of summer freshness. From the suites, you can enjoy the ample view across the Baltic Sea. One particular highlight is the 20 m² large roof terraces of the suites in the new building.
In the 4.500 m² large SPA-ROSA, thalasso therapy is the leading treatment to activate the immune system. The healing power of the sea and the pleasant maritime climate comprise the basic elements of the varied range of thalassotherapy treatment on offer. Only here, right on the coast, with its typical bracing climate, can the original thalassotherapy treatment be effectively experienced. Accordingly, the treatments are based on the elements of seawater, maritime climate, sea salt and exercise. In order to make direct use of the source of life and energy found in water for the whirlpool baths, algal baths and sea salt baths, treatments with sea mud or whole body sea peeling treatment, SPA-ROSA has its very own seawater pipeline. The eleven special treatment booths form the most modern and most exclusive thalassotherapy centre in Germany.
As for the particular topic of skin care, A-ROSA Travemünde has its own DERMATOLOGICAL PRACTICE, the first branch of the DERMATOLOGIKUM Hamburg, the practice led by Professor Steinkraus. This is where A-ROSA guests and day visitors can make use of preventive medical treatments including analysis, advice and preservation of the health of your skin.
Exclusive SPA club membership offers guests, even without accommodaton, the complete SPA-ROSA range of services: seven different saunas, pools, Kneipp basin, ice grotto, whirlpool bath, relaxation rooms as well as a fitness area with machines and courses. All members receive their own bathrobe and flip-flops. Moreover, A-ROSA Travemünde also offers Day Spa tickets for your well-being.
In the 50 m² large relaxation pool, guests experience the feeling of weightlessness when floating, thanks to a special form of underwater massage. Furthermore, at AQUA-ROSA a therapist will stand by your side and put together the right combination for your from a selection of motion sequences, stretching exercises and underwater techniques.
