 The coronavirus continues to influence our public life, but from now on holiday trips to Schleswig-Holstein and thus also to Lübeck and Travemünde are possible again! Of course, we still have to compliance with the hygiene and distance regulations but we are happy about this restart for the gastronomy and hotels in Lübeck and Travemünde. We are looking forward to welcoming you again as our guests after this long lockdown. Our hosts in the Old Town of Lübeck and in the urban Seaside Resort of Travemünde are ready to take off!

Here are the most important questions and answers (FAQs) concerning your stay in Lübeck!

In order to be able to maintain the relaxations of the regulations in the future, we kindly ask you to continue to be prudent and to act responsibly - at home and on holiday. Please follow the rules recommended by the public authorities. These include: avoid shaking hands as a greeting, wear a mouth-nose protection when shopping and in public transport, wash your hands regularly and thoroughly, sneeze and cough into a tissue or the elbow and keep a minimum distance (min. 1. 5 meters) to others. The Hanseatic City of Lübeck has set up an information hotline on the subject of coronavirus. The hotline is available from Monday to Sunday from 7 am to 7 pm via +49 (0) 451 / 122 - 2626. The hotline is an addition to the information already published at www.luebeck.de/coronavirus.

We are available via phone from Monday to Sunday from 8 am to 7 pm via +49 (0) 451 / 88 99 700 and available for bookings via info(at)luebeck-tourismus.de. From now on our tourist information in Lübeck is open again.

++ Update 15th September 2020 // 8 am ++

From now on, Schleswig-Holstein is subject to the following easings:

- All shops and service providers are allowed to reopen.
- Gastronomic establishments are allowed to open until 10 pm.
- Hotels, apartments and campsites are allowed to reopen.
- Beach chairs can be rented again.
- Low-contact indoor sports (e.g. gyms) are allowed to start again.
- Seated events with up to 50 people are allowed to take place.
- The entry ban for tourists is lifted (mainland and islands).

The current contact and hygiene rules continue to apply to all measures.
