Beach season in Travemünde

Typically Travemünde

We’ve put together the all-round carefree package with the most important sites of Travemünde.

On the agenda: 3 joyful days at the sea! Enjoy the marvellous sea breeze, visit the four-masted-barque Passat and the café above the clouds to enjoy coffee and cake.

Beach walks

Enjoy the first warm rays of sunshine in spring.

A very nice area for a beach walk is the Priwall peninsula. A visit of the nature reserve at the Pötenitzer Wiek in the South of the peninsula is especially worthwhile.

Culinary moments

Travemünde is a paradise for gourmets, because the stars sparkle here not only in the sky above the sea.

The star-awarded restaurants “Buddenbrooks“ at the COLUMBIA Hotel Casino Travemünde and „La Belle Epoche“ spoil you with top-level culinary creations.

Passat ahoi!

Klaus Grope has been sailing the sea since his 17th birthday and even today as a guide on the four-masted-barque Passat he’s still crazy about life aboard.

His favourite spot is the jib boom back-board.

Short but Sweet

Seagulls soar silently overhead. Breakers gliding in from the Baltic crash on the sand. Clouds pass overhead to the endless horizon.

Relax, let your hair down and feel your energy return.

Sailing at your fingertips

Swen Schnell lives his dream of sailing.

What he loves most is a sailing trip with his crew. His tip: Visit the Travemünde Sailing Week - the most beautiful one in the world.
