Without music, life would be a mistake, so they say. At the HanseKulturFestival, we transform the entire founding quarter into a stage. Live acts can be found in the middle of the streets, in churches and, of course, on various stages. Along the Untertrave, the sound of rock and pop fills the air, whereas classical ensembles are concentrated mainly near the theatre. Be enchanted by the unique sounds of street musicians and feel the various rhythms inspire your body to dance along on the market square. In short: mistakes aren’t possible!

A vibrant music line-up awaits you along the entire Untertrave Promenade. The motto here is the familiar and the new: well-known artists and bands play headliners, but newcomers also get the chance to introduce themselves, providing a diverse mix. From rock to pop, with some funk thrown in for good measure, and all musicians from Lübeck or the surrounding area – it’s going to be good!

Evensong – An Evening of Music in St. Mary’s

The Lübecker Knabenkantorei (Lübeck Boys’ Choir) is set to captivate the audience with an atmospheric choral concert. It’s the perfect opportunity to not only enjoy the music, but also admire the church’s beautiful nave.
